Before your first appointment, you will need to fill out our patient forms so that we can become more familiar with your health history, and so that you can become aware of our policies. In order to do this, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, or you can simply click here to begin our form and bring the paperwork to your appointment.
The First Appointment… What to Expect
Typically, your first appointment with us is a chance to get to know our doctors and to come up with a plan for your dental treatment. It is very important that you are prepared for this visit. In addition to bringing a list of your medications, it is also helpful for you to have old records from your previous dentist sent to us. Sometimes, it is helpful for you as a patient to bring a list of questions and concerns that you may want to discuss with your new dentist.
Your typical first appointment consists of:
- New X-rays (we recommend a full mouth series)
- Dental Cleaning
- Periodontal Evaluation
- Dental Exam
- Establishing a plan for your treatment
Being prepared for this visit can help decrease any anxiety you may have about meeting your new dentist and starting your treatment at our practice. To learn more about our staff and our doctors, click here.
